Our History
A third-generation family-owned company, founded in 1988
Dowco Valve Company was founded in 1988 by James Dowell in Hastings, Minnesota, with a commitment to providing best-in-class valve repair, service, and sales. Today, that tradition continues under the leadership of third-generation grandsons, David and Jonathan Beise.
In 1995, the company relocated to a 24,000-square-foot facility in Hastings. In 2006, a second location was opened in DeWitt, Iowa, followed by a third location in Council Bluffs, Iowa, in 2009.
